Inspired by a 15th- century French legend
Young Living’s unique Thieves blend can be found in all of the Thieves products. The Essential oil blend was inspired by the legend of four 15th-century French thieves who formulated and wore a special aromatic combination of clove, rosemary and other botanical that they believed provided protection against plague while they were robbing. French authorities recognized that there was such value in this mixture that upon the thieves’ capture, they received a more merciful punishment on condition that they divulge the ingredients in their secret formula.
1. Diffusing Thieves Essential oil in the living and my office to bring a spicy, clearing and welcoming fragrance
2. In the laundry, I add a couple of Thieves oils to the Thieves soap for extra freshness and delicious scent and few drops on a piece of fabric in the dryer
3. I freshen and clean the dishwasher by running an empty cycle with white vinegar and 2 drops of Thieves in the detergent dispenser.
4. I store a cotton ball with 5 or 6 drops of Thieves oil in the cupboard where I keep all the linen
5. I make my own deodorizing room and bathroom spray by combining 8 drops of Thieves with purified water in a nice dark blue spray bottle
6. When flying, I take my Thieves spray and the Essential oil. Perfect to clean the toilet seat, to refresh my hands and use as a protection for direct inhalation (put a drop on your hands, rub them together and cup loosely over your nose and mouth while inhaling)
